Pumpfun Ends 4x Referral Boost, Sets Fee Share at 37.5%
Pumpfun replaces its temporary 4x referral boost with a 37.5% fee share, directing the remaining allocation to Callout Rewards and in-app incentives.
Pumpfun ended its temporary 4x referral boost on November 1 and set the replacement reward at 1.5x, equivalent to 37.5% of the fees paid by referred users, according to its announcement. The remaining 62.5% will fund Callout Rewards and in-app incentives.
The company said it would continue distributing all of the platform revenue covered by that rewards allocation, rather than keeping the difference after the promotional boost expired. It also reported cumulative reward payouts of $30 million. That figure is the company's own tally.

What the new split means
For someone bringing traders to the app, the immediate change is a smaller referral multiplier. The other reward channels remain funded, so the announcement shifts the balance between direct referral payments and incentives for activity inside the app.
The 37.5% figure is a share of the applicable fees, not 37.5% of a trader's deposit or trading volume. Nor does the announcement promise that every user receives a payment.
Pumpfun's published fee schedule distinguishes the app's platform fee from protocol, creator and liquidity-provider fees. It currently lists a platform fee of 0.45% without a referral code and 0.40% with one, on top of applicable trading costs. The November 1 post changes the referral reward terms; it does not announce a cut to those listed trading rates.
Rewards are part of the social push
In a separate post, Alon described rewarding users alongside adding more markets as central to the app's growth strategy. The practical aim is to give callers, referrers and traders reasons to keep using the same app.
One detail still needs clarification: the public Creator Program page continued advertising a 4x starting boost when checked on November 2. The broader announcement does not explain whether approved creators retain separate terms. Anyone comparing potential earnings should check the rate shown for their own account.
