According to Abdelhamid Bakhta from StarkWare, users can verify transactions in under 100 milliseconds. The technology builds on Simplified Payment Verification concepts from Satoshi Nakamoto's original white paper. The system allows verification without downloading the full 680-gigabyte Bitcoin blockchain.
