Binance enables Ghana users to buy cryptocurrency with Mobile Money
Binance, one of the most prominent crypto exchange platforms globally, has now enabled its Ghana users to utilize Mobile Money for peer-to-peer (P2P) trading. The aim here is to make P2P trading more convenient for people as Mobile Money is the country’s leading payment service. Plus, Binance has kept zero-fee for all these transactions.
The report mentioned that Ghana users can now buy BTC, Ethereum, BNB, EOS, USDT, and BUSD using this method. Binance stated,
“With this launch, it’s now more convenient for you to take advantage of zero fees on Binance P2P. This also unlocks more opportunities to buy and sell Bitcoin in Ghana, especially compared to the prevailing profit margins of between 1%-3% for P2P trading in Africa. ”
According to Binance, only users who have an account on the platform and have completed their Level 2 identity verification will be able to utilize this facility. This is done to ensure the high security of the users. The step will further help the platform lead the on-going comparison between Binance and Coinbase as more people will prefer it due to the ease of P2P trading.
