Former First Lady, Melania Trump, Launches NFT platform to inspire and make money

Despite her husband's outburst about bitcoin being a scam in competition against the dollar, the wife of former president Trump, Melania Trump, has surfaced to launch a business venture on NFT.

Months after leaving the White House, Melania Trump has made her first public appearance by launching a platform that sells NFTs.

The NFT offering of Melania's "cobalt blue eyes" watercolor depiction has been termed "Melania's Vision." According to her, this NFT offering, which costs roughly $187 each, will provide the collector with an inspiration amulet.

The former first lady has also hinted that next month, she will make NFT offerings in a "one-of-a-kind auction of historical importance" that will include "digital artwork, physical artwork, and a physical one-of-a-kind accessory."

According to her statement, the point of launching the venture is not solely to make a profit, as a part of the proceeds will be set aside to assist "children ageing out of the foster care system." In her announcement, Melania stated,

"I am proud to announce my new NFT endeavor, which embodies my passion for the arts, and will support my ongoing commitment to children through my Be Best initiative."

This is not the first time Melania will be making public actions directed towards improving children's well-being. As the first lady, she made calls to put an end to cyberbullying and has been considerably outspoken on issues that affect children.

The watercolor of her eyes created by the French artist, Marc Antonine Coulon, has frequently made it to the public view in many fashion magazines. Despite this, the projection is that the NFT piece has still retained its value.

Parler, a social media platform, will power Melania's NFTs platform. The new NFT gallery, which can be accessed through www.melaniatrump.com, leverages decentralized blockchain technology while directly connecting to people globally. Part of the purpose of launching this platform is also to promote freedom of speech. Melania had commented,

"Since leaving the White House, I have envisioned creating a new platform where Freedom of Speech can flourish."
